we had a wonderful weekend with a special visit from my mom and sister. the weather was beautiful and we were all able to go on a hike, take bandit to a few parks, and walk around the seattle area. one of our stops was the university of washington- gabby was accepted to the PhD program for organic chemistry and the school flew her up the week before to tour the campus and try to coax her in to accepting their prestigious invitation. well, she is a smarty and has some options as to where she wants to research, so we visited the UW campus again for another look around. it is going to be a tough decision and it will be interesting to see where we will all end up these coming months.
i was so blessed to be able to spend some good quality time with family not to mention be spoiled a little bit :0) gabby, mom, and aaron were my personal shoppers as we spent one of the days shopping for cute maternity clothes. i must say that i absolutely love my maternity jeans! they handle my baby bump just fine :0)
we wrapped up the weekend with our 20 week ultrasound AND we found out that we are definitely having a baby BOY!!!!! everything is developing as it should and we are so thankful to God for this gift. so far our baby boy is about 10 inches long from head to feet and weighs about 3/4 of a lb. check out the video of the ultrasound below and stay tuned for more updates!
