fautumn is definitely my favorite season of the year.
**reminder: fautumn = fall+autumn
the air smells fresh and crisp, the leaves are turning, state fairs are around, and some good cooking begins! i made some homemade chili and tried out a recipe for jalapeno cornbread. both were quite tasty, but i think i will play with the cornbread recipe a little bit.
as for elias- well, he is getting so big! using our scale he is already over 13lbs! and he went to his first concert- we saw the legendary willie nelson at the puyallup fair!
aaron's mom and dad saw mr. nelson 34 years ago and here were were in the grandstands listening to 'on the road again.' eli slept the whole time to the good tunes :)
the puyallup fair is an all around good fair. aaron and i went to the fair last year and had a great time seeing the livestock, eating elephant ears and yummy fair scones.
to remember the day last year we took the classic photo booth pictures. so this year we were on the hunt to do the same with elias! after a couple of laps around the fairgrounds we finally found a booth and below are the pictures from 2009 and this year.
