1st real family vacation, part III

our next stop was virginia beach to visit our friends mandy and david. i was so excited to show my little eli to a friend whom i have known since kindergarten...so 22 years! it was a good visit, with some more resting than touring around- much needed indeed!

but we did get to see jamestown and where the 1st settlers settled :)


we also went to the beach. we had never seen the atlantic ocean and not only did we see the water...we saw black dolphins and fighter jets as well!


apparently swearing is not tolerated here in virginia beach!
we finished our visit with a good lunch and sunshine.
