Before...and After

We have a lot of catching up to do! Elias seems to be saying and doing new thing daily and we are amazed and blessed to be able to witness him grow. One big deal moment was Eli's first haircut! I've included some pictures of what his hair looked like in the days and weeks prior to the spur of the moment cut. Here he is having fun in the UHAUL trailer before we loaded it up with junk from the yard and took it off to the dump.

Though we absolutely loved the curls and the craziness, his hair would constantly fall into his eyes. One night (10.15.11) we decided we really should trim Eli's hair. So we put him in the high chair. My (Andrea) job was to distract Elias while Aaron did his best to evenly and quickly cut his hair, because if you know our little guy...he does NOT sit still!


I have to say, Aaron did a great job! Elias looked as handsome as ever! But he looked different. He didn't have his infant look anymore. Infancy seemed to be attached to those curls and the wispiness of his hair. Elias became more of a toddler to us that night.
